I love this video, hahahaha. Always get a kick out of it. The division doesn't work since the person is treating 14 as two separate units: 1 and 4, as opposed to the sum of 10 and 4. When you do the reverse of division (multiply) it with the former, obviously it works:5 (1+4) = (5)(1) + (5) (4) = 25However, it doesn't with the latter cause 5(10+4) = (5)(10) + (5) (4) = 70. He needs to treat the 1 as a 10 (it's in the tens place.)

I've never seen anyone do division that way. Weird

Thank you Captain Obvious. We all know that they are ignoring basic rules of math. It is the way they do that is both funny and smart. Ignore the rules of math here... Jesus. Stop trying to be smart.

The one "mistake" they continue to make is that they treat 10 as if it were 1. They're not accounting for the tens' place in their addition, division, or multiplication. |
