Yes he moved a square. And yes, it IS a big deal. You know why? It saves a LOT of time for moving things in Flash. It doesn't have to be a square. Ever heard of Super Mario Bros Z? This kind of stuff could get us a new episode of that every three weeks. It makes it a LOT easier, trust me.

The power of flash lies in its integrations of code and visual animation. It gives you all the control that hand-coding offers, while maintaining the ease of design that WYSIWYG drag-and-drop GUIs allow. Were it not to integrate an IDE it would be far less useful for interactive web content creation, which accounts for a huge portion of Adobe's sales. It may not be Eclipse, but that's not the point.And, Posting about IDEs on a video that is devoted entirely to the graphical aspect is idiotic.

Oh, you can make 3D objects in older versions as well; they just need to have ActionScript.
