yes it does let you do frame by frame animationbut doing an animation every frame a second takes A LOT of time so flash has tweens which allow you to fill in the gaps like you saw in the video and kind of do the unused frames for youso it does it for you you can still animate it frame by frame if you choose to do so though

and the tween shape tween is located at the bottom of his display in the property inspector

This is a shape tween as you have to click on tween -> shape it changed the shape from a square to a circle

erm i learn this in classes at school for the moment. And i have to say youre titel of youre video is rong. it should be motion tween, not shape tween. a shape tween is a tween that allows ou to disform youre object. The motion tween is for sizing or replacing it
