The bottom line is the Officers Safety Is Number One, The State Trooper Acted Within The Law, However He Did Fail To Properly Secure The Prisoner When He Arrested Him, The Prisoner Could Have Gotten Hit By Another Vehicle, Or Even Ran From The Scene.

The officer had every right to deploy the taser. The guy pulled over was a smart ass that wasnt following instructions and want to argue with the officer. Sign the damn ticket and be on your way! Hell ya to the officer for not taking any crap!!!

Yes you are allowed to refuse to sign your ticket. But you will be detained. Until your court date. Also this cop did not do anything by the book. He did not even read Jared his rights. I am a police officer in Ogden Utah. We can get a suspension for not doing that.

Even after he is cuffed he continues to argue like the pampered baby he was brought up as.Apparently, the opinion of many of you poorly raised idiots is that the cop should have spent the afternoon driving this idiot around showing him speeding signs and discussing the merit of giveng a ticket - WTF.

There is absolutely no respect for authority any more, everyone does whatever they want. This asshole started to argue with the cop the minute he approached the car. He then refused a lawful order to turn around and put his hands behind his back. The cop had no choice - what was he supposed to do, say I'm sorry to the asshole, have a nice day, go on your way and here's a few bucks for lunch. WTF, get reality checked. That idiot of a wife should have been arrested also.

thanks. however for me wasn't obvious, in my country u can refuse to sign a citation. the police will have your details already, so u will get it delivered to your doorstep anyway.. also, patrols are always of two men; u have to pay within' 60 days/you have 60 days also to take it to traffic court |
