Update. On a Dare, It depends if verizon has given it the capability of mobileTV. If you would like to add a data plan for surfing the net/youtube just call in verizon and ask about their services. I have the Vpak, but that might not be the best selection for everybody so make sure to question and ask whats right for you.

I love that Dare. But I love my TV on the Voyager. No TV on the Dare.I have that dataplan. How do I get that update? Is it one of those over the air updates?

Get the software v09 update for the voyager. It has fully functional Youtube just make sure you get a dataplan which i believe is 15 bucks a month so you won't be charged, and then watch unlimited videos/surf the net. Also the new update has the same menu as the dare, you can change things around, the theme looks much better too. (:

There's a new phone called the "Dare". It's supposed to be better but I have to check into it to see if it's a "smart phone" that can use it. Sometimes I wonder if I just should have gotten a Blackberry.

yeah it really sucks not being able to watch videos on a phone that we payed $400...the least they could do is give us goddam flash player

yah i just got it today and its mad easy to handle. i never used one or saw on in real live before i took it out the box and i new how to work it. its pretty easy

Yeah man i feel your pain, i hate not being able to watch videos on a website. It seems to me that Verizon doesnt want to add this feature so people will subscribe to vcast and pay more money. But hey maybe they didnt think it through when they made the phone. As far as the tips, tricks or stuff like that, there are a few things u can do to the phone with Bitpim but i would not recommend that because in most cases it voids the warranty on the phone because it is a violation of TOS by verizon

Because your device uses en earlier version of Flash Lite. You need one of the devices above at this time to watch youtube normally. |
