Im a muslim from neighbouring country of india. These man made laws are of no use. U indians should realise this. God's law should be there. At least in my country I dont have these so called 498 a laws. If we had this law, there would be disastour in my country. U indian people (victims) should protest to abolish this law.

Yes people can say Indians are hypocrates. In some ways they are very kind. In fact they seem more caring then American people do. But when they have authority sometmes they act like they have special rights all the sudden. They don't understand the meaning of authority well.

Indian men are mamas boys. The guys mom will tell him to marry some girl so she can get money from the bride. The mother in law is the one who is getting the most.

Dowry is security of a woman to stay with man after they get marriage. Women are unpredictable. How many women get married to N.R.I. goes to foreign rich country and than wait for there long stay visa and than dump the husband and start working and send money to there poor family. Is this OK for Indians? THE BRITISH IMMIGRATION SUPPORTS THIS. WHAT A CIVILATION OF BRITISH GOVERNMENT?

i'm an american of indian ancestry and having seen all this, is disgusts me. the mroe i've learned about the hypocricy of the indian culture, the mroe i've becoem disgusted. they have very little feelign and they onyl care for their money and are ruthless. not all, but a lot.

poor families that had high demanding dowry requests, now have the power to abuse the law to get their way. We just switched the power around, nothing more.Also are husbands the only onces to blaim, when indian women(mothers)in his side of family had their part to play also. |
